Not to be outdone by rap’s many “wtf” moments, the news of a particular artist signing to a particular label can just as well leave many fans with the question mark face. This may certainly be the case today as news of legendary emcees Busta Rhymes and Mystikal signing to Cash Money Records hit the wire. Mystikal, who hails from New Orleans and was a star of Cash Money’s predecessor No Limit Records, is actually understandable. But Busta Rhymes, world renowned rhyme-sayer that he is, seems a bit out of place. Either way, it’ll be interesting to see how these venerated veterans do in their new musical homes.
