Michelle Obama Slammed for Inviting Common to White House
Typically, President Obama is the one receiving all of the criticism, but back in May, Mrs. Obama found herself in hot water when FOX News criticized her for inviting Common, whom the deemed a gangster rapper, to perform at a poetry session for kids at the White House. Though critics didn’t agree, several media figures and hip-hop artists came to Common and the first lady’s defense.
