My style is hip-hop, old school, [with] crazy remixes [and] traditional scratching.
How is DJing profitable from a business standpoint?
A disc jockey brings life to a party. Providing a quality mix of music, showmanship and entertainment, as well as branding, keeps me in very high demand.
How did mixtapes change hip-hop?
Mixtapes changed hip-hop by allowing more artists to show versatility, as well as creative expression. A lot of labels don’t let artists be themselves, so they use mixtapes not just as a marketing tool, but also as a creative outlet.

The future of the DJ is going to be very high-tech. There is so much new equipment on the market that’s going to make being a DJ a lot easier. I hope that the up-and- coming DJs don’t forget the fundamentals of the art and the most important factor, which is the music.
