Disney and Harvey received over 4,000 applications for the 2011 Dreamer Academy and ultimately a very fortunate 100 were
admitted.Harvey said that he likes to select students that may not have the best grades, but do have family troubles at home or are down on their luck because that was him in his youth. In January, Disney and Harvey will announce the teens selected for the Dreamer’s Academy 2012. The Disney’s Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey & Essence Magazine kicks off March 8-11. 2012.
