Michael Vick made history on several fronts. He was the first African American selected No. 1 in the NFL draft. But never has such a celebrated athlete fallen so far and lost so much money in a matter of months. He became the first athlete to ever make $100 million, lose it all, then get another $100 million contract. He also came within one last-minute interception from going to the Super Bowl against eventual champions, the Green Bay Packers.
