Jennifer Williams Talks Falling Out With Evelyn Lozada: 6 Other Famous Friendship Spats

Last season on VH1’s “Basketball Wives,” viewers got to see the friendship between co-stars Jennifer Williams and Evelyn Lozada nearly crumble under Williams criticism of Lozada’s fiancé, Chad Ochocinco. And though things were seemingly patched up between the two back then, fans are now learning that Williams and Lozada are no longer speaking to each other, according to Williams.

During a recent interview with radio personality TT Torrez, Williams discussed the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives” and explained that fans shouldn’t expect any friendly screen time between her and Lozada.

“As far as our friendship, yea, we are definitely not on speaking terms,” said Williams of Lozada.

Earlier this month, rumors swirled that Williams was involved in a physical altercation with Lozada , whom she allegedly hit in the head with a handbag while at cast mate Shaunie O’Neal’s birthday party.

“I don’t think I can confirm or deny,” Williams said of the rumors. “I think anybody that has tuned into season one through three knows that I’m definitely not a fighter. That’s not even my character whatsoever. You definitely won’t find me fighting in Philippe Chow so I’m just going to leave it at that.”

While Williams remained mum about the alleged fight, she does claim that part of the reason she and Lozada are on bad terms is her feisty co-stars insulting online jabs against her.

“I don’t feel the need to put stuff on Twitter…but yea she threw a couple jabs at me on Twitter,” Williams said.

Though things may be icy cold between the two right now, Williams says that she’s open to reviving her friendship with Lozada in the future.

“Anything is possible, to be honest with you. The whole reason why we’re not speaking, I think is really trivial. Honestly, I don’t have a problem with Evelyn. She has a problem with me.”

But if this is trutly the end to their reality TV friendship, Williams says she’s fine with that as well. “I’m at a point in my life where I’m getting rid of all of the negative energy, including my soon-to-be ex [Eric Williams]. So, my thing is like, nobody’s exempt at this point. If you’re bringing some negative energy and drama into my life, I’m good.”

It’s sad that Williams and Lozada are no longer bff’s, but we’re sure their ongoing rift will provide a slew of dramatic moments on the upcoming season of “Basketball Wives.” And really, that’s what many fans of the show are waiting for anyway.
