The Pearl at Avenue North was the scene of the sneak preview of the new Warner Brothers movie Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton. The capacity crowd was treated to a movie that is surprisingly funny, witty and insightful. The sound track alone could have carried this movie, but fortunately the movie had a few surprises as well as some extremely memorable scenes.
