Charles Barkley kicked off the 2012 season of “Saturday Nigh Live” by serving as the host. Making his third appearance on the show, Barkley opened his monologue with hilarious jabs at his good buddy Michael Jordan.
While posing as Shaquille O’Neal, Barkley teamed up with Kenan Thompson and Jay Pharaoh for a skit about his hit TNT show “Inside The NBA.”
There were a few skits that missed, but he garnered more than a few laughs on the skit “White People Problems.” A parody of Discovery ID, “White People Problems” revolved around small issues that are handled as if they are crises by white people.
Overall, Barkley’s appearance will not be remembered as one of the best of “SNL’s” recent history, but it was an adequate performance that had a few humorous moments.
