Twenty-year-old Briana Bonds of Kansas City, Mo., narrowly escaped death when her weave literally stopped a speeding bullet.
Yes, it did.
Bonds’ disgruntled ex-boyfriend attempted to kill her, shooting at her several times. Miraculously, the only bullet that actually struck her, was found lodged in the back of her weave.
Briana’s hair stylist, Kim Walton, told reporters that the area of the weave the bullet struck is the strongest part of the hair piece.
“I never heard of weaves saving anybody’s life. Never in my life.”
Whatever Bonds paid Walton for that weave, it was an awesome investment.
