Kandi Records Goes Country With Jo Dee Messina
After Kandi announced a few weeks ago that she wants to transition from R&B to country music, the singer makes her way to Nashville, Tenn., this week and hits the studio with country star Jo Dee Messina. Though Kandi originally wanted to create one of her signature “male bashing” songs, Jo Dee takes the reins of the recording session and they begin work crafting a love ballad instead. And as the two sing the song into creation, viewers get to see Kandi joyfully spread her wings in the country world.
