The Pit and Peak of Marriage
In the last moments of their trip, Kim, Kourt, Scott and Kris decide to play the traditional Kardashian game the pit and the peak, where everyone names their highest and lowest moments of the trip. While Kourtney and Scott’s pit and peak are easily expected (her’s is faily sentimental, while his is indecent), Kim brings a sobering moment to the game when she admits that the peak of her trip was being around her nephew, Mason, and claims that the pit of her trip was living with everyone else. When it’s Kris’ time to give his peak and pit, he shares that he wishes Kim’s peak would’ve been spending time with him and that his answer has now changed, though he never shares it. After Kourtney and Scott head out, Kim and Kris are left to themselves as they pack up and head to their car. On the ride, the two seem painfully distant as they sit far apart from each other and Kim, once again, reveals her heartbreak over her failed dream and admits that she never wants to come back to New York again. Of course, we all know that later on Kim decided to let her dream go and filed for divorce from Kris, causing quite the media storm and a backlash against the Kardashian clan.
