Rihanna and Chris Brown's Violent Past: Restaurant Salutes With 'Black And Bleu' Burger

A Georgia restaurant is the subject of scrutiny this morning for making fun of the abuse allegations between Chris Brown and Rihanna.

Chops & Hops of Watkinsville, Ga., has removed the “Caribbean Black and Bleu” burger from their menu after suggesting that it was inspired by the beating the songstress suffered at the hands of Brown.

On the restaurant’s Facbeook page, a picture of the sandwich was posted with a lengthy description including a line about Chris Brown not “beating you up for eating it unless your name starts with R and ends with A.”

“Well, we were going to do @TimTebow today but decided to trade for a sure thing this week. Instead @chrisbrown, @rihanna and us teamed up for a award winning celebrity sandwich. Put your hands on this caribbean black and bleu sandwich. Caribbean spiced marinated sliced ribeye blackened then look out for the bleu cheese, sliced tomato, silver Lamborghini onions, and shredded romaine. Chris Brown won’t beat you up for eating this unless your name starts with a R and ends with A.”

After receiving a number of negative comments on the social network, Chops & Hops released a statement apologizing for their actions and pledging to donate money to domestic violence organizations.

“The owners of C&H would like to make sure everyone knows that we and our staff do not support domestic violence. Many of us have been affected by domestic violence in some manner and realize that this is no joke. We have been involved in fundraising for Project Safe Team 6 and we fully intend on donating proceeds (times 6 – in honor of Team 6) from the sales of the burger. C&H continues to strive for a community driven, family oriented, great food and great service environment. We will continue to be involved in our community fundraising and charities near and dear to our hearts.”
