Have Kim Kardashian and Kanye West issued a statement on the Trayvon Martin case as a couple? That’s what it looked like this weekend on a new episode of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”
Actress Nasim Pedrad and comedian Jay Pharoah posed as “Kimye” for a spoof on the sketch-comedy show centered on the tragic killing of the unarmed 17-year-old. In the skit, a fake Piers Morgan asks celebrities to give opinions on the case including Kanye and Kim, Ice-T and baseball player Ozzie Guillen. Kanye laments that it took officials 46 days to arrest Zimmerman, “It took way too long fam” to which the whiny reality star responds, “I know. Forty-six days! That’s like half a marriage.”
The fake Kanye also adds that he feels for Trayvon personally but adds that “maybe it’s just the black man in me,” to which Kim responds, “I also know what it feels like to have a black man in me.”
