Pilar Sanders is officially a free woman after spending hours at a Texas jail for allegedly assaulting her husband.
As previously reported the statuesque model and estranged wife of Deion Sanders was accused of assault Monday when the sports legend tweeted, “Pray for me and my kids now! They just witnessed their mother and a friend jump me in my room. She’s going to jail n I’m pressing charges!”
A mugshot of Pilar soon surfaced showing her face in almost mint condition except for a noticeably swollen bottom lip.
Now the accused domestic abuser is free and is speaking out in her defense.
“TMZ” reports that when Pilar was released she spoke with reporters and claimed she was completely innocent.
“I am innocent,” she said. “I understand that I have a very little chance at beating a Hall of Fame, two-sport man that everyone seems to love and adore. I am a full-time mom 100 percent for my children and I have just not gotten a fair shake.”
A second woman named Dee is also being linked to the incident as the rumored “friend” who helped in the assault.
Dee or @DeeThickChick on Twitter, was identified by Deion’s daughter Deiondra, who threatened to jump in the next time she and Pilar touched her famous father.
Gossip rags note that Dee is Pilar’s cousin but that has yet to confirmed.
Pilar has been banned from the couple’s Dallas, Texas home for 60 days.
She’s also banned from threatening or harassing any members of the Sanders family.
