Stiff, stale and status thirsty, this professional avoids human contact other than to collect business cards. She’s not there to network; she’s there to be seen. She doesn’t need to introduce herself; you should already know who she is. The VIP looks down her nose at others and is more interested in what a fellow networker is wearing rather than what they’re offering.
