The episode opens with an a capella version of Whitney’s “How Will I Know,” led by Mercedes (Amber Riley), whose having a difficult time letting her idol go after confessing last week that she wants to be famous like Whitney. And with help from Rachel (Lea Michele), Santana (Naya Rivera), and Kurt (Chris Colfer), Mercedes proves that she’s got what it takes to hit it and do justice to the late singer. It’s truly one of the best covers of the night.
