I Wanna Dance With Somebody
With some help from his fiancée, a confused Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) finally understands why his students are taking Whitney’s death so hard (her death represents the permanent changes in their lives). So, the glee club director decides to make it a Whitney Houston tribute week and first up to sing their love for Whitney are Brittany (Heather Morris) and her girlfriend, Santana. With classic 80s Whitney get-ups and a slew of backup dancers, the tribute looks almost like the Whitney’s “How Will I Know” video and Brittany and Santana make the song fun, despite some slightly underwhelming vocals. It’s not the best performance, but it’s surely not the worst. A kiss between the two would’ve made it better.
