Marcus Chong playing Black Panther Party founder Huey P. Newton:
The movie Panther was not a biopic, per say, but a film based on a true story of a fearless and ruthless revolutionary (Newton, on top) who co-founded the Black Panthers at the apex of the Black Power Movement in the late 60s. Marcus Chong channeled Newton brilliantly, particularly in the heart-pounding, pulse-racing scenes where the Panthers and police collide in the movie directed by Mario Van Peebles.
