“I want to open this speech the same way I opened a speech in front of Trayvon Martin’s family. Close your eyes. I want to ask you a few questions. ‘How do you honestly feel about black people? And those who are black, how do you really feel about yourself?’ The second question is, ‘If Trayvon Martin was white and George Zimmerman was black, what would’ve been the outcome?’ Open your eyes. I want you to think about the things you thought about when your eyes were closed. We have to be brutally honest.”
