“One thing that the Rodney King verdict showed me was that we can have video tape [of blacks being brutalized] and it still doesn’t matter. We can have a 911 call where the operator told Zimmerman to ‘stand down.’ Let’s take race away and deal with facts. They told him to ‘stand down’ and the police arrived and a child was found dead.”
