Atlanta fire officials are said to to be on the scene at Tyler Perry Studios where they’re battling a 4-alarm blaze. CNN reports that firemen were called to the southwest Atlanta scene around 8:54 p.m. where one building was ablaze and had partially collapsed. Captain J.L. Bundrige, a spokesman for Fire Rescue, has since confirmed there are no reports of injuries.
20 units which included 96 firefighters were called to the scene. Crews are still on scene assessing the damage. Tyler Perry studios sits on 60 acres and includes five sound stages. Perry, the famed director, writer, producer, actor and playwright has yet to comment on the blaze.
