For days, reports have been flying that Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom’s hit reality shot, “Khloe & Lamar,” would not be returning for a third season. But now, the couple has come forward to set the record straight about the future of their show.
According to ET Online, Khloe and Odom talked about their show at E! Network’s Upfront Event and revealed that their show hasn’t been canceled — they’re just taking a break from it.
“Our show is not canceled,” Khloe clarified. “Lamar and I have chosen … to take a break this summer … We just want to take a little time off for Lamar to be with family, kids, basketball, Olympics, you never know. So, we have a lot on our plate right now.”
Odom, who was released from the Dallas Mavericks this season, chimed in, “We just want to be happy. We’ll take our time and we’ll get back to it when it’s time.”
Odom also added that he wants to play on this summer’s Olympic team and hopes to sign with an NBA team next season.
And while Odom is busy resurrecting his basketball career, reports claim that Khloe is in talks to star in her own solo reality show while “Khloe & Lamar” is off the air.
We’ll just have to wait and see whether “Khloe & Lamar” will return to TV or end up like these other cancelled reality TV shows. –nicholas robinson
