4. If this is your first time visiting the salon, take a look around. Is there dust, overflowing trashcans or dirty windows? A dirty window on the outside of the business signifies that no one cares on the inside. Or, save yourself the trouble and visit a business review site, such as Yelp to investigate the salon beforehand.
3. Did the nail tech sanitize the tools after the previous client? Unsanitized tool use is a violation of state health laws. Check your salon’s score with the state health department, or ask to see it, in most cases, it’s the law for the inspection score to be visible.
