Singer K. Michelle Joins Atlanta Cast of 'Love & Hip Hop'

“Love & Hip Hop” continues to gain steam.  On May 15, R&B singer, K. Michelle announced that she will be joining the Atlanta cast of “Love & Hip Hop.” Word spread like wildfire that the young woman, known as R. Kelly’s protegee would replace rapper, Diamond. Although K. Michelle did express interest in the show a while back, nothing was confirmed  by VH1.

K. Michelle took the stage at the second anniversary of the popular Atlanta industry event ATL R&B Live on the Park at the Park Tavern, which featured Case, Tank, J. Holiday, R.L., Benzino, and fellow “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” cast member and super producer Stevie J.

Keri Hilson, Tameka Raymond, Dondria and Mishon were among celebrities in attendance, as well as Chili, Floyd Mayweather and the Money Team security who caused quite a scene as they entered during Tank‘s performance.

Atl Live on the Park, presented by Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols,  is a great event that not only helps promote and preserve the R&B genre, but also brings together local and national acts, aspiring and established music industry professionals.

VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” premieres Monday, June 18 at 8 p.m. EST.
