Hall Takes Home Trump’s Top Spot

Clay Aiken came in second place once again this time on Donald Trump’s famed reality show. The “American Idol” runner-up was once again defeated Sunday, this time by Arsenio Hall on season 12 of Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.” Beating out 17 other contestants, including Aubrey O’Day,  Lisa Lampanelli and Teresa Giudice, Hall took home the top prize and $250,000 will be donated to the Magic Johnson Foundation in his name. The former late night-host appeared on the “Today” show this morning to discuss his victory and told the news program that his second place streak was finally over.

“It’s nice to be number one. All my life I’ve had the number two syndrome kinda like Clay,” said Hall. ” […] Coming to America, I’m the second lead. Competing in late night, Johnny Carson the king; I was always second. But you know what? This morning I’m number one.”

Along with speaking with the “Today” show about his win, the comedian took to Twitter to jokingly say, “It’s a beautiful day in ZAMUNDA!!!,” another reference to his role in “Coming to America.”
