In 2009, Kate Winslet sued U.K.’s The Daily Mail after the publication accused the Titanic star of lying about her exercise routine and called her the most irritating actress. Winslet won her case and was awarded 25,000 British pounds (about $40,000 in American currency) in libel damages.
