Despite sharing the massive R&B hit “The Boy Is Mine,” Brandy and Monica allegedly got into a physical backstage altercation, creating what would become a longstanding feud between the two. Though both their managers denied at the time that a fight occurred, last year Monica admitted that she and Brandy were in a tabloid and industry-instigated feud at one point, but are now friends.
