Ashley Judd may have found critical acclaim for for her roles in 1995’s Smoke and Heat, but the Southern native first spent four years at the University of Kentucky, where she majored in French and minored in anthropology, art history, theater and women’s studies (most people can barely handle one major, let alone four). Judd even spent a semester studying in France.
