The office is where a (working) married man spends the bulk of his time, and where he is most likely to become comfortable with other women on the job. The more powerful his position, the more likely he may choose a lover, according to research findings from Joris Lammers, an assistant professor at Tilburg University.
Professor Lammers surveyed more than 1,000 professionals about if they have ever committed adultery; he found that in men and women: “the more they have power,” Lammers said in an interview with NPR, “the more likely they are to engage in infidelity.”
