As a general rule, Lipstick Lesbians, a term sometimes used to describe women who are bi-curious, are given the side-eye by some members of the gay community.
“My gay friends have told me that a lot of people are not gay at their core, they are just trying something different; it’s a cool thing to do right now. If you have sex with a woman, it’s an action, and you did it, but at the end of the day, do you prefer to be with a man? That is the question.”
She continues, “For the first time, I heard women who cheated with women say that they always had an attraction to women and they decided to act on their attractions. Two people told me they made a choice to sleep with a woman; that it was an act. Usually, I’m told that the gay or bisexual person was born this way.”
