Eddie Robinson, NCAA's Winningest Coach: Top 10 Black Coaches in History

In the 1983-84 season, Thompson became the first African American to win a NCAA Division I championship. In 26 seasons as head coach, Thompson led the Hoyas to 19 March Madness appearances.
