What drew you to this project? It’s an inspiring story one that almost anybody can relate to. I realized I had a lot in common with Cynthia [a character in the movie] and I also felt alone before I decided to live my life by design, not default.
What do you hope viewers walk away with after seeing this project?
I want them to be inspired. I want them to have hope and realize they have the power to control their destiny and that they are never alone.
Who are your personals idols in the industry?
Debbie Allen, for inspiring me to direct, and Reuben Cannon, for teaching me everything about producing.
