Terrell Owens Signed by Seattle Seahawks After Year of Financial Pitfalls and Baby Momma Drama

Terrell Owens will get another shot at being a millionaire. The former NFL All-Pro recently signed a one-year deal worth $1 million with the Seattle Seahawks. Owens worked out with the Seahawks and ran the 40-yard dash in an impressive time of 4.45 seconds. It proved that Owens, 38, remained in shape after not playing during the 2011 NFL season.

Owens’ return comes at the perfect time. He has dealt with financial issues and claimed that he lost $80 million of the money he earned  during his career.

He dealt with issues of failure to pay child support and almost landed in jail several times for falling behind in payments. Owens also had several of his homes and condos foreclosed on after failing to keep up with several mortgages.

However, the most embarrassing situation for Owens was his dealings without the Indoor Football League team the Allen Wranglers. The team cut Owens during the middle of the season and gave him a $50 severance package for his time.

But with a new opportunity in Seattle, Owens must now manage his money and time properly. He has already dealt with life after the spotlight fades.
