1. Read a book together. I know this may be hard for many. For many of us in the African American community a book is a piece of furniture. In my home, our library is
right in our living room, available for access any time of day. My daughter and I read at least two hours a day together, plus we go to the public library several times a week.
2. Act out a book with your kids. If your child has a favorite book, you both can have fun acting it out.
