London 2012’s opening ceremony for the Olympic Games received its share of praise and criticism alike, but there’s no doubt the 2012 Summer Games went out with a bang. The Olympics Rock ‘N Roll extravaganza’s closing ceremony featured a mix of art, music and fashion and boasted a galaxy of musical acts from the Mother Country, including the reunion of the Spice Girls and a tribute to the Beatles’ John Lennon. –yvette caslin
