The list of the wealthiest sisters in Hollywood was just released and there were some shocking revelations on it, as well as surprise admissions and omissions.
The top names on the list will probably surprise no one, since the since the first seven stars have maximized their appeal to stack them chips through movies, music, endorsements, modeling opportunities, appearance fees, comedy stints and TV shows.
You might have thought, however, that some actresses would have placed higher on the list compiled by CelebrityNetWorth.com.
For example, Zoe Saldana, who starred in Avatar, the highest-grossing movie of all time, and is now cast, or miscast, to do the Nina Simone biopic, obviously didn’t get any box-office percentage from Avatar. Still, she is definitely not hurting whatsoever.
Lauren London, the dimpled angel who rose meteorically through such vehicles at the cult classic ATL, but has been rarely seen since birthing Lil’ Wayne’s child, made the list. But Tasha Smith, who is a household name through her hilarious histrionics on the Why Did I Get Married? franchise and now has her own television sitcom (“For Better or Worse”) is not on the list.
Here are the 25 Wealthiest Black Women in Hollywood.
