In 1995, Jakes began his television ministry. In 1996 he had the move to Dallas and founded what became a megachurch, The Potter’s House — a non-denominational megachurch with 30,000 members. The Trinity Broadcasting Network, Black Entertainment Television regularly broadcast his services enabling him to have international reach and influence.
