Alexis Phifer and Mashonda to Tell All?
Are the exes of two prominent members of the Hip-Hop community ready to tell all on television? That’ the rumor swirling around about Alexis Phifer and singer Mashonda. Phifer, is of course the ex-fiancée of Kanye West who seemingly inspired his 808s and Heartbreaks album. The pair dated on-and-off since 2002 and ended their relationship in 2008. Kanye would then move on to Amber Rose and now his latest girlfriend Kim Kardashian. There are also reports that Alexis and Kanye at one time argued over Kardashian after nude pictures of her were found in his cellphone.
Another ex with a similar story is singer Mashonda, the former wife of producer Swizz Beatz that split from him in 2008 after four years of marriage. Mashonda has been adamant that her husband had an affair with Alicia Keys that ultimately broke them up. Beatz later married Keys in 2010.
With two equally juicy stories to tell, rumors ran rampant this week that both ladies would be recruited for the second season of VH1’s ‘Hollywood Exes’, the reality show starring the exes of Prince, Eddie Murphy, Jose Canseco and R. Kelly. According to repots, producers of the program are hoping to recruit both ladies to dish on life after their Hip Hop heavyweight lovers. There were also reports that both ladies could be working on a tell-all book. “The sources are talking and of course we are listening,” reported a gossip site. “The source alleges that Alexis and Mashonda are working on a book and maybe a reality show to show life after Swizz and Kanye. We sure hope it is true. Seeing as how they were BOTH done dirty.”
Now however Alexis and Mashonda have gotten word of their reported exposés and are responding via Twitter. Mashonda was asked by a fan directly if she was penning a book and seeking tv fame, while Alexis took it upon herself to respond before a question was even asked.
