Goldberg a household name and a mainstay in Hollywood for her hilarious and Oscar-winning role in the box office smash Ghost in 1990. The early 90s marked the peak of her popularity, making regular appearances on “Star Trek: The Next Generation” beginning in 1997. She admitted to being a huge fan of the original “Star Trek” series and jumped at the opportunity to star in “Next Generation”.
