After years away from the VMA stage, Alicia Keys returned to perform her new single, “Girl On Fire.” Dressed in skintight black pants, a cleavage-heavy golden top and slicked back hair, Alicia belted out her girl power anthem before inviting Nicki Minaj on stage to rap about her fear and love of the “girl on fire.” Unfortunately, Nicki did little in the way of giving an actual show. But thankfully she was upstaged by an acrobatic performance from our nation’s newest hot girl, Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas, who saved the performance from mediocrity.
