Michael Turner Arrested
Just hours after assisting the Atlanta Falcons to victory against the Denver Broncos, Michael Turner was arrested for driving under the influence. Turner, who rushed for 42 yards and a touchdown in the game, was pulled over by Atlanta police around 5 a.m. today for speeding. Officials say he was doing 97 in a 65. During the stop, officers detected the odor of alcohol and arrested the 30-year-old for driving under the influence. Turner was taken to the Gwinnett County Jail and later released on $2,179 bond.
Before today’s fiasco, Turner made headlines for having 7 children with 5 different women. Reps for the running back have yet to comment on his arrest. –danielle canada
