After years of being hiatus and raising the children she had with The-Dream and rapper Lil Wayne, an Atlanta songstress made a surprise appearance at a local sporting event. Nivea appeared Monday at the Falcon’s season opener against the Denver Broncos and treated the crowd to her rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner.” Afterwards she was flooded with praise.
“It was fantastic!” one fan wrote online.
“@ThisIsNivea gave me chills singing the Anthem!!!,” added another.
Nivea later tweeted, “I’m so excited someone recorded me singing the Anthem @ Falcons vs Broncos game!!” and posted the video below. –danielle canada
