Nas and Kelis
In January 2011, Nas was given a break in his child support case when he convinced a judge to cut his child and spousal support payments to ex-wife, Kelis, in half from $51,000 a month to $25,000. Nas, who previously had problems paying Kelis on time and once owed $350,000, reportedly argued that the fallen economy hampered his ability to bring in income.
