Terry McMillan vs. Jonathan Plummer
Author Terry McMillan was furious when her younger husband Jonathan Plummer disclosed that he was gay. “I always thought Jonathan was not the most masculine man that I had been with,” McMillan.
McMillan’s relationship with Plummer inspired the book and film, “How Stella Got Her Groove Back.”
Plummer said that he realized that he was gay during the final two years of their six-year-marriage.
On the Oprah show, McMillan told her ex, “You didn’t say anything about being gay. You said everything but that.”
