Comedians are supposed to lift our spirits and make us laugh in the face of life’s harsh and crazy days, and they’re typically not the people we look to when it comes to serious drama. But, apparently Katt Williams didn’t quite get that memo, as fellow funnyman Faizon Love is now claiming that Williams pulled a gun on him last week.
According TMZ, the incident happened on Tuesday night, when he was parked outside of Hollywood hot spot called the Supperclub.
Love claims that he and Williams got into an argument over a $50,000 debt that Love alleges Williams owes him. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse for Love.
“Once the argument escalated, Katt went to his car to go get his gun to pull it out on me,” Love said. “Fortunately, one of my homeboys who was there took the gun out of Katt’s hands.”
However, Love says that he soon came to learn that he was never in any real danger of being shot.
“Come to find out the gun he pulled out on me was not even loaded. My homeboy gave it back to him … then we went in the club,” he said.
Moments later, Williams was arrested for a possible gun violation, though he was released later that night, claiming that he did nothing wrong. However, Love assures that he’s not the one who called the cops on Williams.
“I am just extremely upset that his punk ass would pull a gun out on me and even play with me like that. He better chill his ass out,” Love warned.
Well, hopefully this beef doesn’t escalate into a real violent scene, like these other violent beefs below. Check them out after the cut. – nicholas robinson
