Sheree Whitfield to Receive $75,000 From Bob Whitfield
After a lengthy court battle over past due child support payments a former cast member of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” is set to get a hefty check from her ex-husband. According to official court documents first obtained by TMZ, Sheree Whitfield will receive $75,000 in back child support from her ex-husband, Bob Whitfield. The former Atlanta Falcon admitted in court to missing 38 payments of $2,142 simply because he could not afford them. A judge sided with Sheree, however, and she will now receive $75,000 from her ex before a Nov. 11 deadline. Additionally, Bob has agreed to pay $1,000 per month for the next 12 months before he’s required to pay the original amount agreed to, $2,142, in January.
Sheree and Bob’s ongoing child support battle played out last year in front of Bravo TV cameras. In one episode, Sheree took her ex to court with help from her fellow “RHOA” co-star, Phaedra Parks. Things did not go well, however, and Sheree was defeated by the ex-NFLer, who filed a contempt of court motion against her. Parks is no longer representing Sheree. –danielle canada
