Susan Smith, 41
On July 22, 1995, Susan Smith was convicted for murdering her two sons, Michael Daniel, 3, and Alexander Tyler, age 14 months. The case gained worldwide attention because she claimed a black man stole her car and kidnapped her sons. Smith is now serving time at South Carolina’s Leath Correctional Institution. She will be eligible for parole on Nov. 4, 2024.
