On Wednesday,Oct. 24, rapper 2 Chainz visited BET’s “Don’t Sleep” for a chat with talk show host T.J. Holmes. On the show he talked about voter suppression and his Respect My Vote initiative. Some may not know that the hardcore rapper is a convicted felon and repeat offender since the age of 15. 2 Chainz opened up to Holmes and talked about those issues and how he learned he could be reinstated as a voter despite his criminal past. He discussed in detail why felons should be given the opportunity to vote if they were very young when they got in trouble.
