Michael Strahan Sells Beachside Home
After battling rumors of adultery and homosexuality in a previous relationship, an ABC co-host has moved on from his previous L.A. digs. Michael Strahan, 40, made headlines last week after addressing rumors that he was not only unfaithful and abusive in his marriage, but had a homosexual affair.
“I think early on when you’re reading all these things in the paper that aren’t true — I’m not an adulterer. I’m not gay. I mean, I didn’t beat anybody,” said the “Live! With Michael & Kelly” co-host to Bryant Gumbel. Strahan was reacting to accusations by his ex-wife, Jean Muggli, whom he divorced in 2006.
With the drama behind him, Strahan also recently caught a lucky break when his Los Angeles beach pad was sold for a whopping $1.8 million. The 3-bedroom, 3.5 bath home with an elevator actually sold for less than expected — Strahan originally bought it for a little over $2 million. Nonetheless Strahan is said to be glad to have the home off his hands and recently purchased a $7.9 million home with his fiancée, Nicole Murphy.
