Gucci Mane Takes Shots at Nicki Minaj and French Montana

Gucci Mane just can’t seem to stay out of beefs these days. After being embroiled in a heated feud recently with Young Jeezy, Gucci Mane has now taken shots at his former ATL crew members, Nicki Minaj and French Montana, saying they failed to “keep it real.”

Gucci made the damning remarks in a recent interview with Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, in which the radio hosts asked him how he felt about Nicki Minaj, who originally built up her buzz with him, Waka Flocka Flame and Waka’s mother, manager Deb Antney, having moved on from them to success with Young Money.

“It’s like, when she came to Atlanta she [Nicki] gave me a shout-out and said I helped her in her career. But at the end of the day I just think you keep it real with somebody you can’t expect them to keep it real with you,” Gucci explained. “I told you man in this industry people wanna be famous and forget the people that helped them get to where they at. I tip my hat to Nicki for being a hard worker, but at the same time she know she ain’t keep it real.”

Gucci also shared the same sentiment about French Montana, who also honed his skills with Gucci’s Brick Squad before achieving success with Diddy.

“French Montana know he didn’t keep it real. My thing is I ain’t going out of my way to tell somebody to act real or they fake or they lame because that ain’t got nothing to do with me,” said Gucci. “But when they start spilling into my business or my affairs, I’m a vocal person, I usually speak on it.”

Well, this sounds like the start of another unnecessary beef. Sadly, this isn’t the first time this has happened. Check out some other unnecessary beefs below. –nicholas robinson
